Good pitching shuts down good hitting in the postseason. The Yankees are going to have a very tough time with the Red Sox and Astros with the current rotation. Except for Sevy they will have a pitching disadvantage in every other game against those clubs. Is there a Yankee fan here who has any confidence in any of our starters besides Sevy? I certainly don't.
Tanaka and CC are potentially big problems going forward. Bullpen isn't much better, outside of Chapman. Giving up 5 run leads like it's nothing against a sub-par team.
