Bears, Commies, Pats locked in on QBs. Cards need a LT and WRs, same with LAC. QB 4 and WR 3 on the board for your 6-11 New York Football Giants! The 100th season sure is shaping up to be a special one.
LAC 99% going WR, ARI trades Rondale Moore, they’re most likely going WR as well. Would probably not need to even bother trading with Pats if they’re comfortable with one of Maye or JJ as they should have one of them at 6. Only worry is if Minn or Denver actually tries to trade up but don’t see Pats wanting to trade that far back unless it’s a kings ransom and even then the Giants can probably do better given they have the 6th pick and not 11/12.
Yeah but Nabers with Keenan is a million times better than Nabers without him. I mean you would hope if you are Herbert you keep Keenan and got a Nabers/Odunze. Saying that Harbaugh never really cared about WRs, I wouldn't be shocked by a trade down and OL pick or just take OT at 5.

Cards drafted a LT last year in the top 10 and signed OT Jonah Williams 2/30. They either trade down or take a WR IMO.

I don't see them trading down past us. Unless maybe the Vikings make an insane offer that included 2 1sts and JJ.
LA needs OL too, they need to protect Herbert and currently have 1 good tackle on their roster.
That is why a trade down for them makes sense. You can get a RT like JC Latham while adding lots of picks.
Harbaugh is smarter than to draft a right tackle that high. I bet he wants Odunze or maybe Bowers. Odunze seems like a real Harbaugh kind of player. If I had to bet, he will be their pick.

Even if Minn/Den trade with NE it doesn’t change anything for us.

True. Biggest thing out of a trade (for Giants) with NE is to ensure their pick of Maye/JJ (two most likely to be there).
Talk about giving Fields no excuse. You also don't typically trade for a high priced 31 year old WR with a $23M cap hit just to pair him with a rookie QB either.
This seems to signal to me they are going to stick with Fields.
1. CHI - QB Williams
2. WAS - QB Daniels (likely)
3. NE - QB Maye
4. AZ - WR Harrison
5. LAC - WR Odunze or WR Nabers
6. NYG - whichever WR is left
7. TEN - LT Alt
8. ATL - Edge Turner
9. CHI - trade down with Den, allowing them to leap Min for McCarthy
10. NYJ - LT Fashanu

This signals to me they didn’t think they’d get a top WR at 9 for Caleb.
1. CHI - QB Williams

4. AZ - WR Harrison
5. LAC - WR Odunze or WR Nabers

I bet they trade Fields for a 4th and recoup what they just gave up for Keenan Allen.
Caleb Williams
D’Andre Swift
DJ Moore
Keenan Allen.
Talk about setting your young QB up to succeed. Absolutely love it.
Or are they trying to give Fields all the weapons for one last chance? If the Bears move out of the top spot, they can still take one of the 3 WRs at 6 and then move back out of 9, that will give them so much ammo for 2025 draft if they need to go QB.
RE: RE: This draft has become increasingly obvious
1. CHI - QB Williams

You spelled McCarthy wrong at pick six.
We aren't taking Nabers over McCarthy at 6. Nabers with his unpermitted gun incident is not going to be selected over McCarthy, no chance imo.

And Harbaugh won't take Nabers over Odunze I'd bet a lot on that.

No way. Maybe some years but this year is unusual. You have a 7-9 team picking overall number 1 in which the QB class is very strong. Esepcailly the number 1 QB if not the number 2 thought to be extremely high. Which now you get for cheap in which your team is alreayd pretty well built. The chance they don't believe any of these rookie QB's won't be great-- -it's slim.
And especailly after what they saw Stroud accomplish in which they passed on taking him vs a QB who has been subpar so far passing.
I bet they trade Fields for a 4th and recoup what they just gave up for Keenan Allen.

No way. Fields is a goner. Zero chance he stays in Chicago

Nobody gives a shit about the gun incident - not even the police. They may take McCarthy, yes. But it will have nothing to do with Nabers having a gun in his possession.
The Chargers can’t trade him. If they do, it incurs an $89M cap hit- they just had to struggle to make $22M in cap room. There’s no way to make $89M up.

It makes too much sense for them to draft Nabers or Odunze.
Herbert could be had with a restructured deal. I suspect Harbaugh wants his guys to move forward.
hes gettng nabors.

I'd guess Odunze is more Harbaugh's style.

Sigh….what a time to be alive.

(1) they'll get that draft pick right back if/when they trade Fields
(2) they'll get a ton of draft picks if they trade the #1 pick
so either way, they're good!
