Antonio Brown has strangely chosen New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones as his latest subject to lampoon. Sounds like AB reads BBI...
Steelers moved on from Pickett after 2 years*
*Bears moved on from Fields after 3 years*
*Patriots moved on from Mac after 3 years*
*Jets moving on from Wilson after 3 years*

Antonio Brown goes after DJ - (

I think he's reached the end of the line here though.
Second, at least Jones is still in the league and didn’t crazy his way out embarrassing himself and his team in the process never to return because he’s not worth the trouble.
But I'm also on board if we take MHJ, Odunze or Nabers.
I know Jones sucks to most here already.
If he fails with what has to be a better oline and with a talented WR group that has a true #1, then nobody will doubt he sucks.
I'm just not sure taking the 4th or 5th best QB from the #6 spot is the answer over a potential superstar WR.

Which of the two of us has had a better grip on what's going on with the Giants these past few years, do you think?
A few of you last out like I have anything to do with the Giants being a disaster. I don't. I'm just another asshole watching.
I didn't know Zack Wilson played well in the first year of the new regime and actually won a playoff game. Also, I didn't know Zack Wilson had a decent and pretty well received rookie campaign. ALSO, I guess all those stories from EVERYONE saying Zack couldn't even operate an NFL offense in PRACTICE were all lies.
But that's nuance. We hate that.
Jones got better from 2020 to 2021 then had his best season ever in 2022.
Nuance. Details. Fuck this asshole.
Kenny Pickett, Mitch Trubisky, Baker Mayfield, Justin Fields, Sam Darnold & your favorite Josh Rosen all got dumped by their teams. Daniel Jones got $160M ($82M guaranteed). I see no reason to feel bad. He's been quite fortunate.

Now, 2022 was clearly an improvement. But, in my view, it was an improvement from bottom 10 in the league to somewhere in the 12-15 range. That is a big jump and was reason for optimism. I just think too much weight was put on it, as his season as a whole was not impressive; it was just impressive compared to the rest of his body of work.
trust me it's a low bar, but he's definitely better than Pickett Wilson and Fields. Those guys were literally the worst players on their respective rosters.
Daniel Jones has gotten got paid approximately $72M to date by the Giants, and he has an economics degree from Duke to fall back on. I don't go to bed at night wondering how Daniel Jones survives it all or wondering if someday he will overcome all the odds stacked against him in life.
I'd just like to see someone more talented than Jones play QB for the New York Giants.
How many playoff appearances and/or wins do those other guys have? Oh, zero? Oh, ok.
This is the CTE talking Antonio!

Do I think he would be better? Yes I do. But, I do not see him cracking the top 10, which is what you should expect from a guy taken at #6. Now, should the Giants decide to stick with him, I root for him 100% and hope for the best. And, with the right circumstances, I hope he protects the ball as he did in 2022 first and foremost. I just am not holding my breath that he transforms into a 4000 yard 30 TD guy under any circumstances.

But it’s over here. The fan base is done with him. And honestly, I don’t know if the powers that be at 1925 Giants Way fully recognize that. This season has the potential to get really ugly fast if they run it back with him & the team sucks, which I would put good money on on March 18th.

The reality for me is that he hasn't even remotely lived up to that draft spot. I believe it is time to move on. But, you say the fan base is done with him. That just isn't true. There are enough fans who don't believe that to make sticking with him not so far fetched. I just can't seem top get a gauge on how Daboll or Schoen or Kafka feel about him.

Our options will probably be between QB4 and WR3. If WR3 is a potential superstar than why can’t QB4 be called the same but at a much more valuable position?
And just because someone's the fourth QB drafted doesn't make them the 4th best. He could be QB2 on every teams individual board and still go qb4

To me, it may boil down to how much they think QB 3/4 differs from QB 5/6, because there is supposed to be some real high talent/value of WRs in round 2.
I mean Jones seems like a good guy and I always want to root for the underdog and the unfairly despised, but the ship is sailing, he's not the guy.

I have to disagree. I think it’s time to move on from Jones, but I don’t act like the guy fucked my mother in front of my little sister. I also don’t feel the need to pretend that he’s Zack Wilson or that the combo of Tyrod Taylor and Tommy Devito played some amazing level of football just to bitch even more about Jones (which they didn’t). And that’s definitely the vibe I get from a lot of people around here.
Imagine sharing anything from a certified piece of human detritus like Antonio Brown just to make a point about Daniel Jones. The piling on from many on BBI is unseemly and completely unnecessary.

My biggest gripe with the whole back and forth on this site about Jones is how his backers-the few that remain-seem to think his detractors hate Jones. I, for one, do not hate Daniel Jones. He seems like a very nice person who works hard and doesn’t do anything off the field to embarrass the organization. But he’s just not that good of a player and we’re just spinning our wheels at this point. We need to upgrade the position. Plain and simple. And whenever he leaves, I’ll wish him well wherever he ends up.

I shared it because I found it to be comical coming from a certified nutjob like Antonio Brown. I thought it was funny, that Daniel Jones, of all people, was being targeted by this fruitcake. I have always been hopeful that DJ would figure it out and become worthy of the contract. Alas, the injuries, IMHO have removed any chance for that to happen. I was not attempting to pile on or make any kind of point about DJ. I have always rooted for his success.
Because I'd rather root for a QB that can actually win with some consistency.

Blake Bortles went to an AFC Championship Game and once threw 35 TDs in one season, which is more than DJ has thrown in the past three years... combined.
But hey, at least DJ is better than Zach Wilson. Hoo-fucking-ray.
