He's basically retired from public life and unlike normal celebrities, when he was done with being a public person, he was really done with it. It says a lot about people that they assumed something must be wrong with him.

In the last month, he's been tweeting daily inspirational missives on social media. Today's "I'm dying" offering was just your basic "don't take anything for granted" thought for the day.
