Boller throwing from his knees through the field goal post and the off balance Zach Wilson roll out to the left and throw it across his body that got people all hot and bothered.
With rushers closing in
With defenses disguising things and making a QB do a lot of post snap reads
With DBs making them be accurate under pressure.
Who really knows. This throwing the ball around in shorts does nothing for me.
Well that's one area that I and a lot of experienced guys like Mueller think JJM really shines. This is the big difference between Maye and JJM to me. JJM seems to operate very well (perhaps even better) with the adrenaline of pressure (both pressure on the pocket and in the mnd). Maye appears to regress and falter under pressure (poor stats under pressure, break down in mechanics, locking onto read one, not seeing the field clearly, running into sacks and throwing interceptions). I also think this is the most important factor in projecting a college QB into the NFL and one of the hardest factors to analyze, thus such a high number of guys with good arms and physical specimens failing as high draft picks.
DJ’s pro day was great. The guys are literally saying it was flawless and he looked dynamite passing. Shows you most of this non-game stuff is BS - watch game film
And Daniel Jeremiah is saying he thinks he will be a first rounder. Yep you're right. Genius Gettleman actually made him a top 6 pick when they were questioning if he would be a first rounder a month before the draft. Smfh, what a bad pick. I was so excited to take Josh Allen and I was so happy he was available, then we take this guy. Was rough and I had no idea how rough it would be for the foreseeable future after that pick. And Josh Allen had the highest pass rush win rate this past season to add insult to injury. We take the bpa with that pick and then we take Herbert the next year, it would have been a natural progression. How tragic, so it goes.

Eli and Brady did not look like prototyplical football players ... IJS

So obvious what DJs limitations might be.

That's fair, but I'm not the one that posted his pro day :( it brought up old trauma

you may have overlooked him - but there is a group on BBI that have been beating the drum for him

I know we just traded for Burns but I think Dallas Turner has the chance to be a game wrecker. We might be overlooking him.

That could establish a team identity quickly.
