His role is different than a beat reporter or one of these national guys. I think he has a pretty good sense how things will play out overall, but he's not trying to report on this player here that player there. If there's not a sense of intrigue, he hasn't done his job. He has good info, but he's not trying to nail the draft down pick by pick. If we knew exactly how the draft would play out, we wouldn't tune in. His job is to make it exciting.

We move to 5 and take MHJ, JJM or maye.
All they have to pass on is difference between MHJ and nabors. If they think it’s close the extra picks would be good to rebuild some of what they lost
Now pats take JJ, cards MHJ we get maye or switch JJ and maye. I doubt cards pass up on MHJ for a trade back and if they do.. take MHJ

Good video where McShay was spot on and Kiper wrong back when Jones was drafted. There is no 100% foolproof way that shows if a QB will become Patrick Mahomes, when you look back and Mitchell Trubisky QB was the 2nd pick in the 2017 draft and Mahomes was the 10th pick.
Brady was selected 199th overall by the Patriots in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL draft.

Giants need to keep their fingers crossed or maybe pull a name out of a hat. It will be an interesting draft.

I give him credit for being a trailblazer for all these draftniks in all sports, but I don’t put much stock in his opinions anymore.

Young has had one year. Jones has had five.
But if nothing else, he's entertaining, and he adds to the draft process, and I'll give anyone their due for putting themselves out there with strong opinions.
