Anybody watching this yet? I’m kind of obsessed with it so far. A little Kingsmen. A little Breaking Bad. Great performances everywhere. Memorable characters. Really enjoying it so far.
Who was paralyzed from the waist down after being shot in a home robbery. He and I start series and movies together when we hang out. We finished“The Gentleman” about 4 days ago. Loved it. He laughed so hard at the Chicken costume scene that he began hyperventilating. I’m a bit of a film snob so I was nerding out over some of the camera shots. All in all I think it delivered on a number of fronts. Great acting, great cinematography, and a solid script.
doesn’t need to be before the show but if you plan on watching both I’d start with the movie. There’s a lot more depth in the show due to the format but the movie is a good intro to the lore. It’s basically a modern Lock Stock, very fun watch, and the show adds addition depth and characters (different characters and story but same world).
wife and I just watched ep 5 last night. Snatch is one of our "comfort food" movies, but Ritchie's latter works haven't really done it for us. The Gentlemen has been a very pleasant surprise. We're really enjoying it.
You beat me to it!
Griselda was one of the best Netflix limited series ever. Sophia Vergara was other worldly good.
Guy Richie adapted his own movie. 10x better

he was talking about the Guy Ritchie movie. Didn't know there was a show with same name.

You are saying that the series is better than the movie, right?
(I haven't seen either one, but am planning on watching the series)
I really enjoyed it
Kingsman 1 is great. What’s the relation though?
