I'm not a stat guy or did I see any of his games, but just going by his combine performance and highlights this guy looks phenomenal. Anybody else impressed?
You’re underselling Wandale. He’s now fully recovered from the acl. He is explosive and his yac ability is insane. He was totally underutilized. If we can get a true 1 it will open things up for him and he has more deep threat ability than what he’s shown. Don’t sleep on Wandale I’m expecting a huge season for this kid. He also can play RB as well he’s insanely versatile. I wouldn’t trade Wandale for McConkey straight up. Not a chance. Cede lamb called Wandale his sleeper WR for 2024.
You are very strange. I guess Andrew Thomas sucks also because Dave drafted him. A guy can be a shitty GM but can select good players too right. They aren’t mutually exclusive.
Hard to detect on the internet with a one liner. I’m just saying I’m a huge fan of Wandale and loved him at Kentucky. Shocked we took him because his traits are insanely rare for a WR. Short arms etc. but he’s shown he’s a weapon even with poor qb play and a bad offensive system. I’m praying for Rome round 1

It's all good, I just wouldn't hold up trying to get better because of Wandale. Or Hyatt, for that matter, there's so much high quality WRs coming up and NYG needs more.
If we take Rome it bumps Hyatt down to 4 which I’m fine with but with McKenzie backing up wandale I really would like a big body WR. Something we’ve been missing for a long time. Not to ruin the thread. Would you consider Bowers at 6 if the Qbs are off the board. I’m not a JJ guy or Daniels. For me it’s Maye or let’s take an offensive weapon. Bowers could be a game changing tight end for our offense. Belly and Bowers. Not a bad duo or would you go Rome
I'd be looking squarely at Rome at #6. If you can't get the QB at #6, get the #1 WR.
The wildcard for me is Dallas Turner. Spending huge on Burns probably eliminates going Edge early. And, if they picked Turner it would probably mean the timer's been started for KT to go elsewhere.
Quality player. Very sure handed and clutch on 3rd downs whether

Yeah, big fan of Turner as well, just don't see how they can go that route now. Before the Burns trade, I would have been all for it, now, I just don't see how they can go that route.
I have him behind some others like Ricky Pearsall and Malachi Corley. I would love so many of these good WRs in the 2nd/3rd round range. We need a DT though also so it will be tough to make happen.

Depends on how they view KT's future beyond season four. Right now, they could fit Turner under the cap and have time to decide on KT.

I'd wager NYG goes offense either way.
No way they go Turner... They want an impact player at 6 if not a QB. Turner would be an impact if we didn't have Thibs and Burns. He would be a situational pass rusher or would push Thibs to a sit pass rusher. I doubt they want that kind of impact at pick 6.

Didn't Schoen draft Robinson?
He did. The joke was about the "don't sleep on" reference.
I’m perfectly content with Turner despite Burns and KT. Build on a strength and make it the focal point of the team.
That being said, is Turner a blue chip edge or just the best red chipper in a year without a blue chipper?
If so, I’d prefer Rome, who seems like a blue chipper with a high floor due to work ethic. I’m concerned about separation ability though.
I think the only thing keeping him from blue chip is size, he's 250-255 and you'd rather he be a bit heavier to defend the run. But, the length, explosion, power, bend, burs, and pedigree are all there. He's not a Myles Garrett, but there's not many of him.
Good insight. I’m a huge fan of Rome. That’s who I want at 6. I do not want any Qb outside of Maye. I do like turner but with KT and Burns I can’t see it. Only other option imo is Bowers but it’s a little rich at 6 for a tight end even though he seems like a blue chip prospect. I’m all in on Rome if not him Nabers

I am with you on Corley, too. I am not sure I have seen a WR that physical since Steve Smith.

He's a slot guy first, but over time I could see him being an outside option, too.

God forbid someone have a different opinion than you....

Never thought he would be a first round guy though. Figured early Day 2.

That is a good comp. Would love Corley.
But we already have a few slot guys.
