would want to trade up for in the second round? I know some are worried about giving up too much draft capital, but if a player like Ladd McConkey were available at the top of round 2, would you be ok with the Giants trading up?
It's a deep WR class, but sometimes that means there could be a big run on them at some point, probably before their 2nd round pick.
and my sleeper is Cornelius Johnson late.
Depends who else is on the board
I mean, McConkey is 6'0, Robinson is 5'8, but either way whoever it is you'd want the Giants to select at that position, would you trade up?

round 2, are you waiting for them to fall all the way to 47?

I think there will be good WR's, but my thinking is that some of the better WR's will be off the board, Coleman, Leggette, McConkey, Worthy...are you ok staying put and possibly getting Roman Wilson or Malachi Corley?
In R2, I like Keon Coleman. His slow 40 might allow him to drop a bit. But don’t think he makes it to 47. He was incredible running the gauntlet, the most important drill for a WR IMO. I do believe the Giants met with him at combine as well, remember seeing it somewhere.
If they don’t trade up, I’d keep an eye on the two UW guys who played alongside Odunze.
At the same time, the #1 WR is a bigger need right now and they might have a shot at one in the early second round.

When the Giants are in a position to sign players as upgrades from solid starters, that’s when you know you have a good football team. Right now, the Giants are still trying to upgrade from below average starters.

Yes, there are very few players on the roster right now who warrant resting on laurels.
If the question is: Trade up in the 2nd for a WR? I say no. But everything depends on who’s on the board and what it costs to move around.
You don’t draft a position, you draft a a player. Some WRs may be worth moving up for, others not. I think there’s going to be good value available at DT and that is also a need. But again, it depends on who’s still on the board.
Given the deep pool of WRs and the diversity of talents they bring to the table, it might be WR in the 3rd. Trading up in the 3rd makes more sense to me if they love someone who’s available early in the round.

Personally, no. I'm not a fan of Wilson and I do like Corley as he's fantastic with YAC, but he's more of a slot guy, IMO. I'd like an X receiver.
IMV, Ricky Piersall of Florida would be a great pick at 47.
He seems to be underrated a bit by BBI crowd.
I like this list as well, I was watching Bo Nix a couple weeks ago and all I walked away with was, Wow who is that Franklin kid. He made Nix look good a lot of times, several under throws where Franklin had to comeback to the ball. He is thin/light, but he is fast and has awareness.

Totally agree with all these WR and will add Coleman.
And look at Cowing later rds as a second slot guy similar to Wandale
Maybe the trade up is too steep to get either? But I like both prospects a lot.
I hear you, but most years, when a position is very deep, there ends up being a run on that group, so it evens out.
