I hear you. I concluded a long, long time ago when it comes to the draft the % of BBIers who actually watch prospects play is significantly lower than those who don't.

Then again, there is a group of BBIers who "actually watch prospects play" and think they know it all, but STILL get it wrong as much as - if not more than - the BBIers they are constantly mocking...

bw, I offered that observation a few days ago on one of the many threads on WRs or Odunze head to head vs Nabers. I liked his thick suddenness vs Odunze's longer (more vulnerable?) frame
I’ve been going back and forth between these two seemingly every day. Today it’s Nabers but bottom line for me is if we got either one I’d be thrilled.
It is amazing how my personal feelings this year haven't changed... I still have it MHj, Nabers, Odunze, Thomas... Same with QBs... Caleb, Daniels, Drake, JJM, Nix, Penix... usually I move some around, but not this year.

Both of those numbers are slightly off. Here are the drop rates for some of the top guys
Marv 6.9%
Nabers 4.9%
Odunze 4.8%
Brian Thomas 3.8%
Adonai Mitchell 1.7%

Basically the same - had Nabers and Odunze as 2A 2B but I think I judge Nabers slighter ahead

My point of old data... here is what I had on Nabers after the season... "Nabers averaged 18 yards per catch, with 6.8 yards after the catch, and demonstrated exceptional hands with a drop rate of just 3.1% over the past two seasons."
Explosive as hell. Still think Odunze ends up being the better pro, but it’s close.
I can't say I have watched a ton of Nabers but I watched about 10 Washington games this year and I am in love with Rome. He looks like he will be a tremendous pro. I am also a little put off by the diva attitudes of some LSU receivers. Not saying Nabers is or will be a diva but I would need to be fully confident he wont be before pulling the trigger.

for me, it’s more about Nabers’ ability to make the contested catch. He’s not gonna just blow by opposing #1 corners at the NFL level. He’s a great receiver and deserves to be at the top of the class, but Odunze offers more bang for your buck at the NFL level no matter WHO you have at QB or how much separation he gets.
Nabers does run some really nice routes though. I prefer Odunze but wouldn’t be mad at all with Nabers.

I can say this though. Nabers didn't have to make as many contested catches because he has elite separation. He was getting monster open in the SEC, while Odunze was more covered against the Pac-nomore. That is what puts him over Odunze for me. Plus Nabers was good with contested catches. Elite separation and elite after the catch. I love Odunze also don't get me wrong and would be happy with any of the 3.
great size at 6'0'0 200lbs and 4.3 speed and a 40 inch vert. So he's a bigger version of AB or Hill. I will take that and move on to the next position.
With his body type, I surprised he runs so fast.
