Georgia TE Brock Bowers and OT Amarius Mims had their makeup Pro Day today. Bowers, at 241 pounds, looked explosive/moved well. Mims declined to weigh in. Both only did position drills—no testing for either.
Giants TEs coach Tim Kelly, Jets TEs coach Ron Middleton were on hand.

Bowers is an elite prospect. His combination of acceleration, size and toughness is perhaps the best I've ever seen at the position... he really jumps off the screen.
That said: I worry that he'll be injury prone at the next level. It's the way he plays the game... he's tough, and he'll fight through contact and go for extra yards. But that's gonna take a toll over time.
I wouldn't take him at #6 if I were the Giants. But he warrants consideration in that range for the right team/fit... he is absolutely a top 10 type "blue chip" prospect.
I'm not happy with the QB situation, but the roster as a whole needs talent everywhere. Would be happy with a trade down and Bowers scenario.
It gets better right?
Giants should not.

Giants should not.
Jets have no issue? Their QB is approaching 40 and coming of an torn Achilles
TE seems like a tough position to scout though. Many first round TEs flop, and the best in the game currently were a 5th rounder (Kittle) and a 3rd (Kelce).
