-The Cubs traded C Joe Hudson to the Mets. It' not clear what the Mets gave up to acquire him in what's a minor league move. The Mets assigned him to Double-A Binghamton after the trade.
-The Mets outrighted RHP Julio Teheran to Triple A Syracuse after having designated him for assignment on April 9th; the Mets also traded RHP Yohan Ramírez to the Baltimore Orioles for cash.
-Today's promotion at Citi Field, for the the first 15,000 fans, is a Dwight Gooden Moving Arm Bobblehead. Tomorrow the Mets will be retiring Doc's number.
