This subject has turned up in several threads, so I decided to take a look at every NFL team, starting with the arbitrary draft year of 2010 to the present (2023). Based on Ourlads.com database, 163 QBs have been selected over the past 14 years which means we should expect the average NFL team to have selected 5 QBs (163 QBs / 32 NFL Teams). The Giants have selected 4. In all, 21 NFL teams have selected 5 or more QBs:
8 QBs Drafted
New England Patriots
New York Jets
Tennessee Titans
7 QBs Drafted
Cleveland Browns
Denver Broncos
Jacksonville Jaguars
Philadelphia Eagles
6 QBs Drafted
Arizona Cardinals
Buffalo Bills
Carolina Panthers
Pittsburgh Steelers
San Francisco 49ers
5 QBs Drafted
Chicago Bears
Cincinnati Bengals
Houston Texans
Indianapolis Colts
Los Angeles Chargers
Los Angeles Rams
Minnesota Vikings
New Orleans Saints
Washington Commanders
4 QBs Drafted
New York Giants
Baltimore Ravens
Green Bay Packers
Kansas City Chiefs
Las Vegas Raiders
Miami Dolphins
3 QBs Drafted

Round 4: 23
Round 5: 19
Round 6: 22
Round 7: 24
You can understand why Kansas City, Green Bay, Baltimore, Dallas haven't drafted many. They've had highly productive QBs. I'd still draft QBs if I were them, but their QB situations have been light years better than the Giants'.
This mirrored the team’s approach to Eli when he was drafted and we only started spending picks when it became obvious he was aging. Webb, Lauletta & finally Jones.

This. The Giants have been awful at drafting QBs. These are the first round investments since Simms:
1979 - Simms (first round)
1992 - Brown (first round via supplemental)
2004 - Manning (first round via draft)
2019 - Jones (first round)
They don't even try. Eli had a long career here so I know that impacts it, but they waited too long to find his replacement.
There is a difference between drafting Max Duggan in the 7th round and picking a QB in the 1st round. From what I can see your list does not differentiate the two.
Many teams for obvious reasons seem to exhaust all chances before replacing their QB they have in the QB1 role.

One can easily make the argument that the Giants have been trying to win games with back-up level QB play since 2017, with Eli's declining play and then Jones. Can't imagine a clearer example of tying our own hands behind our back. Total disregard for production a team needs from the most important position on sports.

The Giants are almost certainly one of the five worst quarterbacked teams since about 2016.

And over reliance on 1 game ;
"If what I saw from (Eli) in Philadelphia wasn't a mirage, we're going to keep moving."
SCotUS and QBotNYG, both appointments for life 😂
I don't care about the hand wringing of ownership involvement. The who or why is irrelevant, someone was enamored with 2022 and convinced others that a contract was a good idea.
In first chart below, the first number is the number of QBs drafted by NFL team from 2010 - 2023; the second number is the average spot in the draft these QBs were taken.
To be read: The New York Giants have selected 4 QBs over the past 14 years and the average of where they were selected is equal to the 78th selection, the 6th highest in the NFL.

But aside from that, teams don't have the luxury of drafting backup QB's when their roster continues to have significant holes.
