Even grumpy old me is happy....was mostly watching the Rangers win the division, and hoping for Bread's 50th...

Bader does those small things well, his great jump (and base running in general) to score on the throw home in the 8th being a good example.

So, 8-3 since the 0-5 start? Not bad...

If JD Martinez arrives, hits, stays healthy, the line-up will be much deeper....Alvarez, Baty, McNeil at the end of the line-up means so many fewer empty innings.

Sure is nice when the Mets play clean, fun, winning baseball.

I'm not so sure. Usually not how it works and when he dialed it up in the past it's more triple digits. Something to monitor.
