We start tonight with Lakers-Pels then Sac-GS as the nightcap. Pretty damn good doubleheader for a play-in. A lot of thought out there that Lebron and the Lakers may tank this one because they'd rather be the 8 seed and play OKC as opposed to the 7 and have to play Denver who they've lost 9 straight to, knowing they have a home game waiting vs GS/Sac if they lose. Anthony Davis is questionable as ususal but he has been for just about every game this year and plays most of the time. Will be interesting to see. Sac and GS have developed an interesting rivalry the past few seasons with the playoffs last year and that great game to make the quarters of the in-season tourney this year. Should be a fun watch.
Does that include his near misses?
"To receive credit for a game for purposes of award eligibility, a player must have been credited with at least 20 minutes played. However, two "near misses", in which the player appeared for 15 to 19 minutes, can be included in the 65-game count."
He'd still be one game short though...brutal.
Neck injury. He killed the Knicks last time they played the Heat: 34 points, 8-11 from 3.
hahaha, how dumb. He's top 50 in the league in minutes played
If GSW loses to the kings - they’re done. Kings win and Lakers loss means they play each other.
I want no part of Miami and that's not a knock on the Knicks as much as just praise for Miami. Sixers don't have any pelts let alone the pelts that Miami boasts. Fuck Miami. Go the fuck away.
PS--Miami will beat Philly so buckle up.
Gimmee the Sixers. I want no part of the Heat.
As for Miami it will be interesting if they win how they guard Brunson, last year they were able to play zone and easily help and pack the paint because the Knicks didnt have shooters, this year they do, that strategy wont work..
Same for Hartenstein who very well could've made an all-defense team if that wasn't the case. Complete BS
Really goin out on a limb huh? 😂

I think LAL & Golden State make it out of this tournament.

Haha. Oh yeah. And if Stern was still alive, you could take those two making it into the playoffs to the bank.
The dumbest take I saw today was from Nick Wright with Cowherd saying the Knicks will get upset because they play at such a high level already they can't raise their game any higher. WTF does that even mean???

The one time Embiid suited up against the Knicks this season, the Knicks beat the piss outta Philly, winning by 36 in their building.

It means that he doesnt think the Knicks have the talent and that they played above their heads in the regular season

Welp we shall see
Neither scares me. This isn't last year's Heat & Butler didn't end the season well. Embiid disappears in the playoffs plus he's still not healthy. He's not moving well and I don't expect him to hustle. If he were healthy another story
I wish I knew who said the stat but the heat are at the bottom of clutch plays with Detroit and DC. Last year they were in the top half. Butler has also not been on his game. I'll take playoff Brunson.... We shall see
Don’t get your hopes up. Their inexperience is showing. Taking a ton of bad shots this quarter.
The NBA is so poorly run in certain aspects. This is a joke.
LBJ is amazing. He isn’t MJ, but he’s top 5 all time.
16-4 free throws. Scott Foster is in this game for a reason

As Stern would say, ideal Finals matchup would be Lakers vs. Lakers.
Where did that come from? Zion officially measured at 6'6" when he came into the league, after Duke listed him at 6'7".
And making him shorter wouldn't make his ball handling more impressive, which was the tone of the remark.
It’s beyond annoying. All they do is bitch ans complain and have the highest disparity in free throws in the league.

I can imagine as an opposing player it would be hard to not let then get into your head and affect your play too
Hard to beat a team in the playoffs when they shoot more free throws than you
McCollum was straight ass tonight and is sticking with what’s working and that’s Ingram and CJ on the bench.
Zion has been insane tonight.
