I’m not saying he’ll keep his mouth shut, but I don’t think he’ll be the distraction many make him out to be. I mean, he does have a pretty demanding job of his own.
I’m just not convinced Shedeur is the right pick. I haven’t done a deep dive into him, but I didn’t see a lot of arm talent with him. Although we’ll know a lot more about him this time next year.
That is the most craptastic ego driven bullshit I've ever heard lol. He'll only "let" his son play for the teams he did (+ the Eagles)? What a goddamn clown.
RE: I think the Coach Prime stuff is a bit overstated.

Honestly I felt the same, even with the cold weather stuff. But when you're listing the teams you will *allow* your son (not you, your adult son) to play for a year out I'd say it may require some consideration.
Deion is being selective with who his kids play with, but they ain't Elway or Eli.
Yup and the added risk is, even if we draft him with Deion approval, chances are if things get choppy out of the gate in his career Deion will start pushing for a trade behind the scenes anyway.

Between Deion telling everyone already his son is going to pull what he did and what Eli did. Why would you want someone who doesn’t want to be here and deal with that drama? Also, although I respect Deion how he’s handled coaching and keeps his team accountable, he definitely has matured since he was a player, I still wouldn’t want that personality on my team and having Deion talking to the media if his son has even the most remote of issues. Call me old school. I don’t want anything like Lorenzo & Lamar Ball’s dad situation here. Neither do the Giants.
Who is likely to be available next year, and when would we picking?
As bad as Giants have been we have picked 2, 4, 5, 6 and 6 recently. The team has never been the pick
So even if “someone emerges”, would they likely have a shot at them if they do?
Shadeur Sanders
Quinn Ewers
Carson Beck
That's an interesting point. We have to assume, for example, the Panthers have probably already clinched the #1 overall pick in 2025 and may be trying to move on from Bryce Young at that point.
baffles me. Does he have talent? Sure. But if you watched him, he did not do well under pressure and his reads were suspect. At this point, certainly not a first round pick. The other guy I don't get is Rattler. He has mediocre at best, talent.

I can see that too.

If my Dad had tried to tell me what I could or couldn't do once I was 21, I would have told him (politely) to butt out.
Sanders Jr. should do the same IMO.
Sounds like a joke now, but...
Yes.
I do.

Sounds like a joke now, but...
Can you imagine what Mara would be willing to give up to draft Arch Manning?
"Give them our first round picks in perpetuity!"

He's draft eligible in 2026.
