But I'm very curious as to all the top 30 visits that seem to be players who should be available between their first and second round picks. It is alsmot as if they plan on trading down.

Oh yeah... we spent a TON of time talking about trading down and who to target.

are thinking the Giants are going OL in the first round-possibly after a trade down. Then going QB later in the first or top of the 2nd.

I am still holding out hope its Maye then JJM and then a trade down if not those two.

Where we differed was on QB.

I said it is absolutely necessary for the Giants to come out of the draft with a QB this year or next year. He didn't want to go QB this year. We got into all of the pros and cons of trading up, standing pat, trading back.

if one of the top 4 QBs are there at 6 and we trade back gaining multiple picks.

there is one QB Dave wants in this draft, but not until late.

But can't wait to see it posted.

on the asshat reports in the McCarthy thread, I think we're onto something about the Giants talking up McCarthy. We get into it about it creates a situation where one of the two non-QBs now becomes extremely valuable trade commodity.

I know what I want and it is Maye. BUt, I am ok with JJM as I think he is GREATLY undervalued by fans.

Haha. Reminds me of this time right after I graduated college & cousin arranged a lunch with a friend of his in finance to help me career wise. The dude was from Fair Lawn, NJ and I asked who his football team was and he said ‘Huge Giants fan.’ We proceeded to talk Giants football for the entire lunch.

Before we started, we were on Zoom so Dave showed me some of his collectables and he has the coolest signed photograph I've ever seen. It a huge horizontal picture of the old New York Giants offensive line, with all five guys standing together. I've never seen a collectable like it.

So that got us talking about man cave stuff and how people who see it start talking about the Giants.

Ask rnargi... he has a monster man cave.

I need more Giants shit in my man cave.

I have not a clue as to:

1) who they actually want position or player
2) which QB they would take
3) which WR they would take
4) as much as they need to move on from DJ, do they deem it critical enough to move up or trade back for more picks and take Penix/Nix(not likely)

Sy is coming on next week. Same with Jim Nagy. I got a show tomorrow with Matt Hamilton who works on Kay Adams new show, he’s also a diehard Giants fan.
