In all seriousness, I'd put decent odds on BB being our HC @ this time next year. Roast me if you want, but if we're as bad in '24 as I expect...I don't see Dabs getting another year & throw in BB's love for NYG/Mara's sentimentally...I can see it. I also might be in the minority, but I still think BB can coach. Now I don't want him anywhere near a GM role, but on gameday...I still think he's really fucking good X&Os.

to this next week. The interview today was very good as well, Belichick is awesome on TV when hes not coaching a team.

BB is great when people ask him legit/thought provoking ?s. He was awesome on that NFL 100 show or whatever it was called.

TV draft coverage seems to be getting very corporate; promote the league and make sure not to make any team look bad.

He is great and BB doing the draft with him will be awesome.

BB gave a lot of interesting insights in 30 minutes. When he's not in CIA-mode, you can tell he loves talking about the game.

The points he made about getting the fifth-year option for premium positions by trading back into round one - e.g. why the Ravens traded with the Pats to get back into round one to grab LJax - was a very well explained...

Nobody knows the game like he does and he has a sneaky sense of humor, lol.

I have a feeling Belichick is going to really enjoy being in media and is going to bow out of the coaching searches next January. I think the landscape is so much different than it was when Parcells was doing it--he can basically do whatever the hell he wants and he'll find a platform that works.
