Pick. 1999 Champ Bailey chosen 7th, and in 2021 Jacyee Horn 8th.
With that being said, the odds are over a 54-year span say if the Giants stay at 6, they are taking a defensive player and I think that will be Dallas Turner.
I just wanted to make this a separate post because this is a glaring irrefutable statistic, and Giants always go BPA.
No, Just doing pure research. Also, there were some major busts in the top 6 on offense for 1999 and 2021 drafts.
The research shows human nature is going to play a role for the Giants if they stay at 6. The research shows if 5 Offensive players are chosen..chances are Giants will draft defense. There is precedence when Carl Banks and Gary Jeter was drafted with similar drafts like this one.
and there has never been a draft with four QBs going in a row to start the day.
New era.
The past means nothing with respect to this draft.

I respectfully disagree Eric, I don't think 4 QB are going to go in a row to match the value of those top 5 pick slots.
Just saying the sheer math of that draft fact deserved a separrate post.
You're just going to have to accept that.
Make sure to get that data to Schoen so he can consult it to realize he has to take a defensive player if we stay at 6.
Even if they traded back I doubt they draft him. They just drafted Kayvon 5th overall 2 years ago and then they just traded a 2nd & 5th round pick + gave a massive deal to Burns.

I hope schoen does read this posts and sees the case history and outcome.

I think he would be quite the asset if we did trade down some from 6 and went defense. *Not saying do that, just if we did do that.
For teams like the Giants, the addition of one more pass rusher/playmaker will put their "D" in the top ten.
