might be the worst we've had in a while. The Loaisiga injury was huge. I assume that come playoff time guys like Gil and some of the AAA arms will be used. And Kahnle's coming back. But I still don't have a ton of confidence in the pen right now.

This. And despite Holmes 0 era I rarely feel comfortable with him, always makes it interesting.

where is the offense? Some of these guys need to wake up.
Even Volpe is slumping since he was moved to leadoff, not sure Boone had a choice there with the dreadful Torres.

expunged from the rules book. It is far to subjective. Too many contested and questionable calls.
Also, the catchers interference call on Trevino was silly. The ball was in Trevino's glove before the Rays batter swung at it.
I don't think you can completely expunge it because we can't have pitchers going nuts. But I think it should be way less strict. It's pretty rare that a balk actually deceives the runner (or anybody).

Yes, not totally. But when professional announcers, many former players, are confused it is a bad rule.
Our record is good and nobody is hitting besides Soto. Plus when the games matter the bums in the BP will be replaced by studs from AAA. (Cashman is likely saving their options.) Things are looking good despite how frustrating this team can be.
Yes, but until he does, his at-bats are getting pretty brutal to watch.

is gonna wake up at some point, right?

He looks like Stanton at the plate, when Stanton looks like shit.
Don't be surprised if Judge is hurt. He simply is not swinging the bat well.

I've been thinking the same thing. I think we'll see him in the IL soon.
Ferguson in high lev innings just doesn’t work. His stuff isn’t good enough.
Wasted a great Nestor performance.

John Wetteland, Jr...
Cash needs to get two better BP guys.

Still doesn't justify booing him.

Meet the new boss....same as the old boss.

Keeping two on with two outs...no runs
Probably correct.
Nothing can ever be easy!
Yes another series win in the division.
