Remaining Free Agents and the Draft.
With the Giants having only (6) draft picks they will not be able to fill all their needs in the draft. One way to improve the team would be by signing veteran free agents after the draft.
Viewing the available remaining free agents may help to understand the Giant's priorities when drafting to fill a position of need.
There are some positions where there are some intriguing players and depth.
Cornerback, Safety, Receivers, Defensive linemen, and Offensive Linemen seem like areas of relative strength.
Other positions are void of talent, such as Tight Ends, Running Back, Linebacker, and Quarterback.
This strategy applies after the first two picks where I believe that the Giants will go for the best player available.
As a result, when drafting after round two, it would seem that the Tight End, Running Back, and QB would be priority selections, whereas Cornerback, Safety, Offensive Linemen, Receivers, and DL would not.
Some players I would like to see the Giants sign are Mekhi Becton ( he works out at my gym and is in great shape), Michah Hyde, Stephen Gillmore, Odell Beckham, and Calais Campbell.

It’s become very obvious to me that they’ll draft an RB.
After the draft they have 9 slots left for UDFAs which is about average, low even. Unless they really need to hit a certain spot, and sign a cheap veteran for camp, that's probably it until they get on the field. I doubt they'd be signing any starting level players until they are in camp and seeing just how bad a certain hole is.
Last year the only post draft signing was Oshane Ximines. The year before there was no one.
The end of July and in August would be when they start possibly looking at names.
Presently based on the compensatory draft pick calculations the Giants will be entitled to a 4th round pick next year.
The Giants have signed (4) qualifying free agents this year and none are priority free agents.
I believe that the Giants will sign a corner and a safety after the draft.
I expect the Giants to draft a tight end and a running back after the second round.
2) there are more people in the regime who moved on from Adoree I believe from the titans, including the new DC then people associated with bringing him to the team.

I would love for them to bring Justin Simmons in. That would be sweet!
I think those positions are in play day 2 for sure, maybe day 1 (CB) if they trade back.
if they miss on all their targets i think they will sign one or both of those DBs.
simmons would be great but supposedly he's had offers but wants to go to a contender (albright).
If they add one, it will likely be late in the draft.
I would love it if the Giants signed Becton to battle with Neal for the RT spot. Worst case is Becton is your swing tackle. I doubt it happens but Becton is good if he’s healthy.
Look at the 30 visits, we only brought in 1 RB. We only brought in the top 3 Wrs. We brought in a bunch on 2nd and 3rd round CBs & DTs and obviously the QBs.
To me the draft looks like at 6, one of the QBs(Maye), then WR. 2nd round they target CB then DT. After that it’s BPA. I think McCarthy is the smoke screen to for e a team to jump the Giants pushing Harrison and Nabers closer to our pick. I think we explored the trade up and it’s not viable.
If they add one, it will likely be late in the draft.
Don't forget that they signed Turbo.
