Garrett's emergence looms even larger if he can pitch the important innings Raley did

The complete overhaul of his repertoire is really something. Results so far have been astounding .
What about Danny Young?
Jeez, he's an important piece...next man up I suppose.
Easy to see this one (especially against Glasnow) as "playing with house money," but so much of the marathon baseball season is not who you play, but when you play them...
Dodgers not at all hitting their stride, Met's playing over their heads a bit...why not a sweep? Hope Houser can keep them in the game with a short bull pen.
Nice to have Baty back in the line-up, a reality that is a good sign for this team.
Oh, and DJ Stewart leading the team in OPS...
Reed Garrett? Wow....

I honestly don't know where the Mets bullpen would be without him. We all talked about how they should have brought in an additional high leverage arm beyond Diaz, Raley, and maybe Otto. Without Raley and no Garrett breakout? Yikes.
At least they can slide in Garrett (hopefully) into Raley's spot. Only have Diekman as a lefty out of the pen

Likely on the radar though 7 walks over 7 innings in Syracuse
What about Danny Young?
He’s having a nice season, guess it depends how well they think his mid to high 80’s FB would play
*Can't find a home stream for the Mets.*

Enjoy today's game 😊
The NL East is going to be a dog fight all year. And the Braves and Phillies just don’t lose. I can see easily see it taking 90+ wins to get into the WC / postseason this year.

I'm not a fan. Enough of this Flushing Brewers ish. When Senga is ready, send Houser to the bullpen. He can be an occasional 6th starter and long man in the bullpen along with starting in double header games.
Hopefully, Houser will at least keep the Mets in games.
I was watching the Rangers, came back to the Mets and it was 10-0.....laugher....move on.

Brooks Raley’s MRI showed no structural damage in his left elbiw, Carlos Mendoza said. The Mets expect him back in about two weeks.
Good news about Raley not having any structural damage to his elbow.
