I see them taking JJM or trading down as more likely too. Then again, I'm not a huge can of Maye's bust potential. So, maybe I'm bias.

You're assuming a Vikings offer wouldn't beat any Giants deal then, because I'm not so sure they aren't more all in than the Giants would be.

Their fanbase would be furious if Wolf traded a pick that became a franchise QB for another team. He would be fired, and rightfully so. You're correct about the fanbase, in reading some of their comments on this draft on the Patriots fan websites, they are already close to a complete meltdown just with the chance of a trade down happening.

I would never do that with a QB. The second deal might fall through. The other team might received a last minute offer from another team that they think is better, or just decide not to go through with the deal.

At trade up to 4 with Arizona. Sounds like Patriots want JJM

That type of move won’t ever happen. And we already know they aren’t geniuses otherwise we wouldn’t be sitting here with an injured backup-quality QB with a $160M contract and an injury guarantee clause.

He thinks the guy they love will be Maye. He's compared Maye to Eli, Herbert & Josh Allen. All guys we know the NYG, Schoen or Daboll have loved.
