If he gets past Chicago somehow, Giants could very well get him. I just don't see Chicago passing. Williams would have a dynamite receiver corp if they took him.
but if we trade down to 11 or 12, I strongly believe that the Bears would jump at a chance to trade down and accumulate picks in this draft. Their 2024 draft cupboard is pretty bare outside of round 1.
I think the bears target one of the edge rushers and they could still get a good one at 11 or 12.
If either trade back, I could see Odunze dropping. I th8nk Nabers is an ideal fit for AZ, so if they stay put, I think he’s their pick, although they may opt for the sure thing in MHJ. I think LAC wants a RT, and it wouldn’t surprise me if they decided there wasn’t enough daylight between Alt and, say, Fashanu, I think they are a major trade down candidate.
If LAC trades back with Minn, I think Minn takes one of the QB’s left (JJM?), that leaves NYG wi5 the choice of Odunze or Nabers. If Nabers is the pick, I could see Odunze falling out of the top 10, although Titans and Bears would be prime candidates to take him.
6 for 11&23...
Odunze is still there at 11.
The phones will be ringing from Playoff contenders of last year who are a WR away....
Keep 23 trade out of 11 for say 29 plus a late 2nd late 3rd.
and/or almost any team is in play to take him. TEN signed Ridley, ATL has London, CHI has moore/allen, NYJ have wilson, but any of those teams could still take Odunze.
Trade down with Minn, #6 for #11 and #23. Trade back up if Odunze falls. #11 and #47 for #9. Basically take a guy we would be happy with at 6, and turn 47 into 23. A guy can dream, right?
Would trade up from 9 to 6 to take Alt ahead of the Titans. That would put us in position to draft Odunze at 9 and get more draft capital to fill some of the more obvious holes on the team (CB, DT, and etc)
RE: Chicago only has 4 picks in the draft - 2 after #9
What if Chicago wants to trade up for Alt or Nabers? (they have two #2s next year).
they have a damn good set of weapons dont they?
My gut says Bears would have tough time passing on him at 9 even if they are thinking a T there maybe too.
Keenan Allen is kind of a one year WR at this point and they need to make sure they have some depth behind DJ Moore who is a vet at this point too.

No reason to trade up there but I could see them going after Nabers not so much Alt.

i agree 100%
My brother is a jet fan who has been trying to project OL to jets at 10 and ive said time and time again, bears are going OL at 9

Maybe a team like the colts trades up for a WR.
THIS
I get it but Alt fits more to a position they filled last year.. Not seeing it there.

This where I am. The Bears would be smart to leverage their 9th pick to grab more picks.
I could see Jacksonville getting into the mix for a WR like Odunze.
If Chicago trades outs of 9, it'll be with a team that wants Nix or Penix; not Odunze.
