Look, I’ve been as myopic as the next BBI’er about wanting/needing to draft our franchise QB…
So this might be just me shaking myself “awake” regarding the tremendous opportunity NYG has to add a TOP SHELF wideout to our team… worst case scenario we’re “forced” to draft Rome Odunze??? Good news is… he’s a STUD!!!
There is talk that each of these 3 WR’s would be the top WR in many past draft classes…
So worst case scenario we are gaining a stud player in a top 2 area of need for our team? Let’s just enjoy the process and hope Schoen maximizes this draft class, regardless of QB involvement … imagine if we score Nabors?? He’s Jamarr Chase, Jr.
Let’s go BBI!!! We’re in great shape regardless, and that’s me still praying we can trade up and get Maye hahah, but if that doesn’t happen, we have a terrific player at #6 and all our existing draft capital to build the squad.

In that case you can get an All.-Pro talent but he isn't going to be an All-Pro with Jones throwing the ball to him. That is my biggest concern.
Add to it, Jones's struggle with TD passes and points throw the air will be magnified if his running is being held back because of the knee or the neck.. That is a horrible combination..
Trade back- load up elsewhere and grab one of the other QB's (Rattler might end up being the guy at #70)..
Any WR addition only works if it gets paired quickly with a true/legit plan at QB (and not in another 2-3 yrs).

Take 1 of MHJ,Nabers Odunze and build the roster when you have another shot at getting another QB. You could get a shot at Penix later, I'd rather take that risk later cause at least you secured your WR of the future and that's no longer on the shopping list. Let's be smart about this.

This isn’t the last NFL draft. They can’t force a QB. If it’s not there you punt to next year’s draft. If they don’t see a franchise type QB you’re better off waiting than wasting three or more seasons because you were dead set on drafting a QB. We just saw this with our selection of Jones.

it might be JS and BDs last NFL draft as Giants staff if they don't get a QB.
