General thoughts prior to draft

We are finally on the eve of the draft.....kind of like Christmas Eve for us nuts that are emotionally tied to our NFL team.....the Giants will be getting assets.

I try not to get too excited, nor too upset, as my immeditate opinion means little..I know less than those making the picks....and obviously the players selected are viewed as important to the leaders of our team. I try to justify what the team does....and fight my personal bias.

The advancements that the Giants invested in the draft room is impressive and comical compared to DG and his enormous binder!

Last year was a disaster, but I still trust these group of leaders. I feel Schoen and his team are professional and well organized and prepared. although, a ton of turn-over of coaches, I am impressed by Daboll and many of the position coaches...does the OL coach understand how important we view his mission?

I measure how the other teams in division and conference do...as it is relative. The Giants must improve more than the Eagles and Cowboys and remain better than the Commander's

Personally, Daniel's wouldn't be my choice too much boom or bust for me....but he fell to me....the value was too high...I certainly tried to fill the Giants holes.

That list of the top 4 QB drafted since Eli year is eye opening and scary...considering only 1 QB drafted 4th in the year (Jordon Love) was decent ...that is .05% hit rate.

The Giants offense is way behind and needs a ton of improvements, but the Giants defense is getting close. That Burns trade is hugh! A few more key hits!...All Giants fans know our success starts with the defense!

I have no idea what makes a great college QB a great NFL QB! They can certainly measure the traits....but whatever that "it" is.....and no offense, but it is not something any of you can decipher. You have the right to your opinion, but not your facts.

Although, the Giants have done a great job mis-directing their desire and direction, and anything is possible....I feel their top target is D,Maye but it could also be Nabers. 😁

I hope the Giants get what they want, without paying too much.
