DanMetroMan : 4/24/2024 10:49 am
per Andrew Marchand he will have a "recurring role"
He should play the role

of the grumpy dad telling both of them to stop horsing around and pay attention to the game.

BB can be gruff in his pressers, but he’s actually pretty funny when he lets his hair down. And his football knowledge is second to none.
If he gets paid by the word

He'll go broke
Bill: "Manning, you always gave us trouble."

Peyton: "We did have some great battles. Tell me, what wa..."

Bill: "Pffft, not you."

You're confusing HC press conference Belichick, with sitting on the sofa talking football Belichick.

With his football IQ I think Bill will be a great addition.
Make him go to Manningcast?

I just wish

They’d all be in the Adamo room so you don’t have that zoom call speaking gap all the time
Oops
igotyourbackman : 4/24/2024 11:23 am : link
Same room
that is awesome

that is going to be must watch.
Peyton told some hilarious Belichick stories
bceagle05 : 4/24/2024 11:40 am : link
last season so i hope they revisit those and tell a few more.

One was regarding the Pro Bowl. Belichick was coaching the AFC team a few years after being fired by Art Modell and the Browns. At the time, each coach had the opportunity to add a player of his choice to the roster after the voting and everything was complete. Belichick added a Browns player who wasn’t deserving of it, but had a clause in his contract that paid him an extra million dollars if he earned Pro Bowl honors. Belichick just wanted Modell to have to pay that money.
Great

+1.
Belichick has a personality and is funny when he wants to be.

His persona as a HC is all an act. He'd be great with those guys.
I, for one, don't like it.
barens : 4/24/2024 12:04 pm : link
Belichick has no personality, I think he can only hinder the show.
Love it

Imagine adding LT to the mix for a few games. Priceless

I love Eli Manning probably more than a grown man should love another grown man but I cannot stand the Manningcast. It's brutal. I love Peyton too. I think they're both funny but I just want to watch a football game.

I'm with you. I like when they're actually taking about the game and don't have a guest. They obviously have great knowledge.

Yep, this will be a great way to show his other side like when the late Judy Coughlin told her husband that he needed to change. I still think as a personnel person and offensive strategy the game has past Belichick by, but defensively he can still hang with the best of them.

RIP Judy Coughlin. Great woman. The world needs more people like her.
