Thanks for the information. I could absolutely see the Giants trading down if Alt is on the board since we already have Thomas. Somebody said a few weeks ago that the Giants think Alt has HOF talent.

Then yeah I absolutely hope the giants trade down for a haul. Someone will pay a lot for either JJ or Alt. Like Eric said, no one is going to happy after this draft but I’d be a lot happier drafting 3-4 starters than reaching for someone and blowing the rest of our capital or mortgaging the future.

With Rickey now saying the Pats are likely to take Maye at #3...and its not looking like JJM is the Giants target...a trade down from #6 probably makes the most sense.
As much as I love the WR's...you can get a good WR later in the draft and this roster has so many holes...a trade down to accumulate some talent would be important.
But I do doubt that it would be to 6. I think it's more likely, if the Giants do trade down, it's to a team targeting receiver (one of the big 3).
As for JJM, I don't believe any narrative where he's available at 6 and the Giants don't take him.
Yes, I believe they have Maye higher, that makes sense. But I don't believe they also wouldn't take JJM just bc they like Maye more. Reasonable ppl can disagree here.
