What NFL Prospect Profile Sites Do You Recommend?

Jim in Tampa : 4/24/2024 11:43 am
Sy's reviews on BBI are very much appreciated. I've read them all.

Other than that, there are plenty of sites with mocks and player rankings, but I haven't found many (FREE) sites that offer detailed player profiles.

Does anyone have any draft websites that they can recommend?

basically get what you pay for in terms of content when it comes with the draft. I used to try to compile a list of free sites, but the quality wasn't there.

Weird thing is there used to be a ton of good draft guides you could buy but they have gone out of business over time (or the authors died/retired)... Joel Buchsbaum, Palmer Hughes, Nolan Nawrocki, Russ Lande, etc.

Ourlads has remained a constant. The Beast has appeared.

I've tried a few others but they don't seem as good.

Th Beast is nice .... Do the trial and cancel .... 18 bucks for the beast is the equivalent of a couple of magazines in one place IMO.

Also, the Draft Tracker that comes with it, is really nice when following the draft on draft night. It lets you see the picks by team as they unfold, and then lets you see who is available by position and ranking.

I like Lance as well but sometimes he is contrarian. He doesn't have a single prospect in this draft rated as a "pro bowl talent."

7.0 is a "pro bowl talent" and Nabers is his top rated prospect at 6.86.

Some years back they had an 8 or 9 point scale with the top category being something like perennial pro-bowler. Back then a larger number of players received grades near the top. I'm guessing they had too many players with the high grades that flopped in the NFL, so now they seem to be overcompensating and very stingy with those top grades.
