every year because there’s quality WR deep into the draft and trading them before they hit free agency. These WR contracts are insane. I get keeping your WR1 but if you’re giving St. Brown 30mil per, are you giving Jefferson 35-40mil per? That’s crazy.
likely also breaks the highest full guarantee which was 52m to tyreek.
3 of the 5 highest WR contracts by full guarantees were now signed this offseason (pittman, ridley, amon-ra) and that doesnt even include Devonta Smith's extension (which is 3rd highest partial guarantee).
ceedee lamb is next up, he will get more than amon-ra.
then next after that is JJ who will probably become highest paid non-qb offensive player. that deal is likely to go beyond 150m. question is will it be with MIN? gotta think he is going to factor in who their QB is.
i think dallas probably happier than lamb, sets up a pretty easy extension for them. $1 more (figuratively) and Ceedee is new WR1 over a very comparably excellent player (amon-ra).
the WR market this year is a lot like last year's DL market:
non-elite Payne got the big extension off tag (like Pittman),
hargrave got a massive deal in FA (like ridley),
simmons got the first big early extension (like devonta),
then Lawrence followed (like amon-ra),
and eventually the top top guys will get theirs too (lamb, jj like quinnen, chris jones, etc).
RE: RE: He says teams have AD Mitchell off their board
It's been speculated that he's linked with Athletes First.
If "teams" have him off their board, you can count the Giants as one of those teams. They err on the side of caution far more than most teams.

If it has to do with the blood sugar I would disagree

Could that be it? Seems like an odd reason for numerous teams to take him off their board
Busy these days ajr? lol

He has diabetes, I could see a lot of teams not wanting to deal with him needing constant attention to keep his blood sugar levels and attitude right.

Always, already on to next year. On a visit with a transfer to Dayton as we speak.
49rs are definitely trading Aiyuk this week.

Lots of teams passed on Bobby Clarke for the same reason. Lots of teams were sorry they did.

The issue with Mitchell isn’t that he has diabetes. It’s that he’s horrible about taking his shots. They were discussing it on MTC yesterday.
