I think Maye but JJM will be plan B if Pats trade or take Maye.

Arizona and take who Pats don't take. I go back and forth as I have for weeks who they like. I think they like both and will be thrilled with either. If they do trade up with Pats then we know they are head over heels for that one. Not sure they want to give up a king's ransom to move to 3.

It is not my job to tell the Giants what to do. They don't pay me. I pay them, by buying tickets and Giants gear.

But hoping for a trade down that includes landing Penix.

p.s.--Selecting Nabers with the 6th overall pick and trading up for Penix later in the day (or tomorrow?) would be my ideal draft.

Do not overpay picks you don't have specially next years that could be in the top 5.
Aside that let the Cards fall where they may

1) they will try to get to 3 or 4 for a fair/reasonable trade(not cheap, just not highway robbery) for a QB

2) If they fail to get the QB, they will trade back ala Sy'56 and get more picks for this year and 2025 and select Thomas from LSU.

Trade for extra picks has been my gut for about a month.

And I think it will end up being a good pick. He can very easily end up the second best QB in this class. A lot of it will depend on the situation around these guys, though.

I don't buy for a second that the Patriots are actually considering trading their pick.

As I've been saying all along, it doesn't make sense for NE to trade from their spot. They won't trade and they will take Maye at #3. Really nothing Giants can realistically do about it.

Not sure what spot Giants take JJ, not sure Cards trade back either.

I predict the Giants won't be willing to pay the exorbitant price to move up for a QB. Also, there's ususally a surprise in the top ten, and this year I'm guessing it's Nabers going before MHJ.

Giants get Maye at #3 along with NE 2024 #4.

NE gets NYG #6, #70, 2025 #1, 2025 #3.

Arizona gets either MHJ or Nabers, plus #70

Nabers with McCarthy on the board. Or a trade with Minnesota so they can take McCarthy and we settle for Odunze.

Nabers/Odunze - I prefer the latter, but either would be OK at 6. Could live with Maye at 6, but no JJM.

Or MHJ/Nabers/Odunze at six. Or trade back for a haul and take Penix. Hard pass on JJM.

Though I want Odunze (though either would be great).

I believe the Giants initially wanted Maye but JJ blew them away. In negotiating with NE they each ascertained they wanted the same guy and NE wants a grip from NYG. Arizona does not want out of the top 6. The Giants have leverage because they will stay at 6 and draft an amazing player. I suspect we don’t give up a lot and take Maye. The players after guesses based on who Harbaugh prefers.
