Vikings jumps the Giants for J.J. McCarthy and Joe Schoen crashes the BBI website with Rome Odunze at #6.
Top 10
1. Chicago Bears (from CAR): Caleb Williams, QB, USC
2. Washington Commanders: Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU
3. New England Patriots: Drake Maye, QB, North Carolina
4. Arizona Cardinals: Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State
5. Minnesota Vikings (from LAC)*: J.J. McCarthy, QB, Michigan
6. New York Giants: Rome Odunze, WR, Washington
7. Tennessee Titans: Joe Alt, OT, Notre Dame
8. New York Jets (from ATL)*: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
9. Chicago Bears: Byron Murphy II, DT, Texas
10. Atlanta Falcons (from NYJ)*: Dallas Turner, Edge, Alabama
6. New York Giants: Rome Odunze, WR, Washington
You could make an easy case for either Odunze or Malik Nabers here, but which prospect will the Giants prefer? Odunze is the most well-rounded receiver in this class. He has size, speed, route-running prowess, ball skills and yards-after-catch ability.
Nice haul!
11. Los Angeles Chargers (from MIN)*: JC Latham, OT, Alabama
23. Los Angeles Chargers (from MIN via CLE/HOU)*: Xavier Worthy, WR, Texas
In the context of BBI not drafting a QB and then "settling for" Odunze, especially with Malik Nabers on the Board. But mostly, no QB with Minny jumping ahead of NY.
Funny, I sorta had the same reaction! The thought of him paired with Garrett Wilson did not sit well with me.
Why care? At least he’s not in the NFCE.
