Sorry - no set inside information here.
Just wanted to thank you to Eric and the rest of the BBI community for opening the door to me sharing draft reports and information.
I will be tweeting out some short analysis from each pick rounds 1-2-3 and a but more sporadically rounds 4-7 @Ourlads_Sy
I'll also post in the BBI threads who I would take when NYG comes on the clock for those that care.
___
1) When it comes to this weekend - obviously everything will be built from what they do int he first round. QB or WR or surprise.
2) If they don't go QB in round 1 - I do not think they will draft one in any other round.
3) The price it will take for them to get to #3 overall will likely include a 2025 1st and either a 2025 2nd or 2024 3rd. Could be more if there is competition for the slot - which I'm not completely sold on. Either way - I personally believe Maye is definitely not worth two first and more. And I would have a hard time giving that package up for McCarthy (who I have graded higher).
4) I would love for NYG to end with the same amount of picks if they do end up trading to #3. Example - giving #6, #47, and a 2025 3rd with a 2024 4th and 2025 5th coming back (in addition to #3) is more appealing than just losing swings in the batter's box. This team needs so much help.
5) Nabers will be the pick if they stay at 6 and don't go QB - based solely on what I've read in the past about what they want at WR and the fact his skill set fits in with what these guys acquired in Buffalo with the Stefon Diggs trade.
6) I still have more interest in trading down to pick up future draft capital if they can't get McCarthy at 6.
7) Day 2 and 3 need to feed the defense. NYG is scary-thin at corner and I am not confident they have enough pass rush help. A quality three-tech (there are several) and/or a corner you project to start is a must. Both may not be an option - but you gotta get one of those.
8) Losing Saquon Barkley and hoping the combination of Singletary and Gray is a tough sell for me. Get a running back in here - value wise and historically the odds lean heavy that they can get a day three guy to make a big difference.
9) Creativity to solve the issue they have with Darren Waller? How about Johnny Wilson if he falls? What about Jared Wiley who has similar movement traits and elite ball skills? NYG will need to get creative with a versatile passing game tool belt.
10) Return value is stronger than it has been in years with he rule changes. Special teams can win a game or two every year. If NYG can parlay a prospect with return value - that can break a tie for me.

Enjoy guys - don't "throw the remotes".
I appreciate your insightful posts.
Great job - much appreciated
BOL and Thank you!
You are generous with yours
I have learned much from you.
Thank you
For telling us the hard uncomfortable truths ...
About the top tier players - Brock Bowers, Nabors, Alt (and about Maye costing too much). Giants need an A+ draft, desperately.
Looking forward to your further input later on.
Every time you guest on a pod seems that the host says it's either their favorite or it's listener most popular, or both.
I agree on JJ. He's my positional value/need/BPA player likely to be a a realistic target.
HHmmmmm - great thinking minds or shit luck :)
Nailed it.
