And now...Deep Thoughts by Jack Handey

Anakim : 4/25/2024 6:20 pm
In a couple of hours, our whole lives will change. Hyperbole? Perhaps for some, but for those who live and breathe New York Football Giants football, our lives will forever be altered change. If we go with a QB, that QB will be part of our lives for the next several years. Perhaps he will win us a Super Bowl or 2 ala Eli Manning, or will flame out ala Daniel Jones. But regardless, that guy will take us on a rollercoaster ride of emotions and feelings. If we go with a WR or any other position, perhaps we will see his last name everywhere on our fellow fans' jerseys ala OBJ. That guy will be part of Football Giants lore, for better or worse. And, as such, a part of our lives.

The Draft is more than just a selection process; it's an annual event that shapes the hopes, dreams, and expectations of football fans across the nation.

In the end, the Draft is more than just a selection process; it's a cultural phenomenon that shapes the lives of football fans in profound ways. It's a day of hope, anticipation, and excitement—a day when anything is possible and dreams are realized or dashed with each passing pick. Let's hope we look back on this Draft years from now and say it was the beginning of something magical for this franchise and for all of us.

Who's ready!?!?

is to be tricked. For instance, I was going to take my little nephew to Disneyland, but instead I drove him to an old burned-out warehouse. "Oh, no," I said, "Disneyland burned down." He cried and cried, but I think that deep down he thought it was a pretty good joke. I started to drive over to the real Disneyland, but it was getting pretty late.

If you saw two guys named Hambone and Flippy, which one would you think liked dolphins the most? I’d say Flippy, wouldn’t you? You’d be wrong, though. It’s Hambone.
