When #Patriots are on the clock and Drake Maye is there, will #Giants GM Joe Schoen up his offer from so far? I think he will (for a lot of reasons).

I have no read on if Patriots will meet him in middle if he ups it or hold firm on getting even more

It’ll get interesting when Pats are officially on the clock.

NFL draft pre-show said, I know we saw Tom P's post about Pats but I am predicting they trade put of 3 then back up for JJM.

stick at 6 for a WR, or trade down.... lot's of possibilities

I wouldn't deal with the Pats if they want our #1. I just wouldn't. I'd call their bluff on that and deal with the Cardinals instead, just like I said all morning.

Why in the F were the Patriots even listening to offers and fielding calls if they are just going to take Maye anyway. That makes zero sense. All reports earlier were that they wanted JJMC>Maye. So was literally every source wrong?

So now NYG either play a freaking bidding war against Minnesota for 4 or 5 for McCarthy, or are just saying the hell with QB and taking a wideout instead?

If I’m forced to watch Jones under center for another year, I’d rather jump off a cliff.

Again, I just can't get over McCarthy's interview with Eisen....heck he even mentioned Tierney.

Plus side for those who want QB - betting odds really like OT to go at pick 5. If we like JJ he is probably there at 6.

at about a 40% likelihood. Will come down to if the Pats are actually willing to move the pick

trying to get the Vikings to up their offer. The Vikings won't get Maye or JJM if the Pats pick a QB, since the Giants are a better partner for the Cardinals.

I'm holding out hope its JJM if we're indeed going QB. #1 I like him more and #2 it will cheaper to move to AZ pick than NE pick. But if its not JJM and its Nabers, I'm 100% good with that too.

This is very possible.

It’s possible McCarthy is the pick at 3. It’s confusing and hard to explain all the craziness of the day. Maye could be available at 4.
