I agree to a point. But cannot see giving up future picks possibly next years 1st round and still not be competitive. There is more needed than just a QB to take this team to the next level.
The Giants would be trading for the player picked first in this draft. I would not compare Eli to the QB drafted this year.

If it were Williams or Daniels I’d feel differently. But not for Maye or McCarthy.

Eli has 2 Super Bowls and a lifetime .500 record. Not exactly Tom Brady...
