When did that happen? The guy has a few good games per year. Any of the 50 best QBs in the league will have a few good games if they are handed limitless starts.

That is true. We do have the potential to go 9-8 and get slaughtered by the 1st good team we play in the playoffs. All but 5 or so teams in the league have that potential or more.
It would be nice if we had aspirations and a plan to be better than that.
The Giants may very well have tried to move up to take Maye but but not at the asking price. So, they select the best player in years at a position that everyone here agrees is a serious need.
I would like to know which QB we should have taken at #6. Did you want them to reach for a tier 2 QB so you could have something else to freak out about?
You are missing the point ENTIRELY. We need a young QB in the pipeline for hope. There is no hope with DJ.
