Don’t think JJM was a reach at 6. Plenty of people, including our own Sy had him rated higher than Maye.. Nabers is a stud and might turn out to be the best player in the draft.
I struggle with this pick because I believe JJM will be a good QB and a good QB is more valuable than a great WR to me. Think will tell and Joe could be right but I don’t see a path to getting a good WB in the next year or two
Let's Hopexwe nail the other picks too. I wanted a QB but deep down especially when the Patriots deal didn't work out I knew it wasn't going to happen.
People really don’t think Daniel Jones is capable of throwing a football to arguably the best WR in the draft? C’mon man!!! Even if you don’t think he’s capable of being a championship QB he’s still has shown the ability to play well albeit not consistently yet!
Ok with the Jones contract and yes the o line was bad last year. But there is also plenty of tape of him just not throwing the ball down field when it was there, crazy. And that with the injuries and we are in a bad place QB wise

The only thing he has been consistent at is not scoring. He has never shown the ability to play well inconsistently. He wishes. He . Cannot. Play. QB.
Have enough talent to play QB in the NFL can get his team into the NFL playoffs and beat, convincingly, another NFL division winner. Got it. And I’m saying this not convinced he’s good enough to win it all. Just don’t tell me he can’t play or get the ball to a talented receiver. I’m tired of reading that line,
I read somewhere that Nabers runs the fastest 5 yd slants in the draft
Tyrod Taylor throwing the ball to WRs last year behind a line so bad they gave up 85 sacks.
Who will throw Nabers the ball? - it will be Lock, DeVito and maybe Jones.
The most important thing you should be asking is how will Bricillo fix the line so the pressure rate is under 15%...
If the Giants take advantage of his and Hyatt’s speed by playing Lock. Lock is certainly no great shakes, but as we saw last year, Taylor and DeVito were both much better getting the ball down the field.
I don’t expect Lock to carry this team to the playoffs, but he gives this offense a much better shot at succeeding that Jones and his unwillingness to get the ball down the field.
is a pick for 2025 and beyond. Anyone expecting him to produce right away given the offense he’s coming from and drive this team into the playoffs is bonkers.
Starting when?
LOL
It's year three and it doesn't feel like any progress has been made. 2022 was a mirage.

Its all very, very simple
He is a goddamn NFL joke son.

Sorry Eric, didn’t see your post on this when I started the thread.
The staff didn’t like the other QBs, time to get over it.

They got the best overall player on the board.
