Looking ahead to Round 2

Some names really sticking out.

Kool-Aid McKinstry...had a visit with the Giants (unlikely to make it to 47 but CB should be high on the shopping list day 2. Keep an eye on Max Melton as well (another top 30 visit)

At DT you have Ruke Orhorhoro and Jer'Zhan Newton (top 30).

Trey Benson would be a bit of a surprise but he's going to be a complete back at the next level. Also a top 30 visit.

Who do you guys have on your radar for 47?

with you on Orhorhoro and Newton. That would button up the front door and make it elite. Corner would be another good option. I hope they wait until around four for running back.

..don't know.
But, I just want them to keep going BPA.
They have too many holes to fill to fixate on a single need.
Unless of course, need and BPA align.

In the OP...but Braden Fiske. Love him.

I think 47 is too early, but Ben Sinnott has a lot of comparisons to Sam Laporta. If you want to go offense heavy and get another difference maker who can just ball out on offense, Sinnott with these receivers? I know...too crazy. But high floor player.

Don't think Edge will be a consideration, but Bralen Trice still on the board.

Wonder if Schoen wants to move up

Doubt he makes it but every elite defense in the league has a stud nickel. Can play outside if needed too. Seems like a no brainer if he lasts.

with a pick tomorrow... I would go Newton, Orhorhoro, Jenkins, Fiske, or Maason Smith... I would also look at TE Ben Sinnott, Cooper DeJean, Kool-Aid, Christian Haynes, Cooper Beebe, Blake Corum, Jaylen Wright, and Max Melton

Top 30 visits, but those guys were rumored to slide due to injury. I bet those visits were for answers to medical questions.

The guy that stands out to me is Cooper Beebe. G is still a major need to me.

Besides Beebe, I have my eye on Sinnott and Benson - but wonder if both are more realistic in a trade back or in R3.

Offensive staff has had 2 years to get "their guys". Now it's time for the new boss of the defense to make his mark.

which are tricky injuries (pretty sure nicks had that back in the day before they called it jones fracture). they could stick out on the BPA lists for a while if teams are afraid of that.

some jones surgerys go well (kevin durant) but some dont.

But I think they go CB/S. Lots of good value there in round 2 as well unless there’s a big run.

Doubt Kool-Aid makes it to #47. They did also use top 30 visits on Andru Phillips and Cam Hart who might be options in the third. Also Max Melton out of Rutgers in the second. Andru Phillips is really physical for a corner, I could see Bowen liking him being able to contribute in run defense more than your average corner. Also played in a zone defense at Kentucky like Bowen runs.

Makes it to pick 38-39 the Giants should consider a trade up for him. Helps our DBs out a lot. If a team puts him in the right role I think he can be a Pro Bowl caliber player. He had 7 INTs and 3 defensive TDs the past 2 years. Also had a punt return TD last year.

Only eight defensive players were taken in the first round, so I have to believe that a number of first round graded defensive players will be there when he Giants are on the clock in the second round. Best defensive player available probably makes the most sense with this pick.
