Saw this suggested by a few accounts on twitter...with the Nabers pick and Slayton wanting a new contract, could he be traded for some more draft capital? Not sure what he could bring back..
Probably has more value on the Giants. He just lost all his leverage. He better get in OTAs or he may be riding the pine come opening day and if Hyatt makes a leap he’s WR4.
If you look at what Gabe Davis got. He's probably behind him but in a similar tier/prototype but making half what he is. He's going to carry value. Probably a Day 3 value but not insignificant.
He shouldn't be around in 2025 because he shouldn't play over Hyatt or Nabers. Wan'Dale excels in the slot and they have others like Hodgins and McKenzie.
But instead of keeping him as a glorified cheerleader, hang onto him as insurance for the inevitable injury bug (We are the Giants after all) to hit our wide receiver corps.

See what Buffalo would take for him.
The Bills are definitely a prime candidate given the need and relationship. A lot of the WRs available tomorrow are the Z/slot type too. Slayton provides them the type of stop gap we relied on the last few years.
Is they KNOW from experience what to do when the QB is in trouble and needs to diverge from the called play to an open spot.
A lot of this is subtle AND most importantly not necessary in the college game because they were always a lot better 09in most cases) than the opposing defenders.
We saw that with Hyatt last year, he couldn't understand why it was so much difficult to get clear and why the QB quicker than he was used to in college.
Hyatt is more of a gazell, Nabors is more physical and more of a YAC receiver.
He has experience (while Hyatt & Nabors come up to speed) and has solved his drop problem.
Ok, he definitely has not solved his drop problem. He doesn't catch the ball correctly, it's who he is at this point. His whole route tree that he can run is limited by his inability to consistently make certain catches.
deal for one year. His cash pay for this year is about $6MM, but he has already earned his roster bonus, so if we pay him that, it is closer to $3.5MM for a trade partner. He might get you a 5th rounder. Maybe.
Nabors is a natural #1, not blazing fast but highly reliable, Hyatt is #2, (like Nabors) has good hands and is super fast.
Slayton will now be #3, even though will probably have great hands, he remains useful. In some ways, I think of him as a Poor man's Amari Toomer.
Nabors ran a 4.35 and Hyatt ran a 4.4. Granted the former was a pro day and the latter was the combine, but still to say Nabors is not blazing fast and Hyatt is super fast is just not a fair comparison. It is unclear who would win in a foot race (I would guess Hyatt, but it would be by a tick), but they are both likely among the 10 or 20 fastest receivers in the NFL.
Would see him and Ojulari as most likely candidates that carry some kind of value.
^This. I think both have trade value, and neither is likely to be here after this season. But I think if the Giants want more picks, moving down is more likely than trading players.
Ummm...you, ostensibly?
i do think he is right to wonder whether there are enough balls for him here.
See what Buffalo would take for him.
