2025 Draft- QB

jc in c-ville : 4/26/2024 6:54 am
The competition just got a whole bunch smaller. Yes, I wanted to go QB but I get not overpaying for Maye , over drafting for JJ/ Penix/ Nix. That’s six teams that won’t be in competition for a top QB next April. Just like every year, QB prospects emerge from no where each season and the Giants/ Raiders appear to be the teams that most likely will be in play. Plus, we may have secured the best WR in the 2024 draft. Secure more OL help, grab a young RB and just maybe they’re building this the right way.
QBs emerge every year?

I’m still hoping we draft him in round 4 or 5. I know he got injured at the end of last season, but he was special. I like him much more than JJ, Nix, or Pennix.
Pretty much

Yes, each year, top QB’s emerge- law of averages even when you factor in outliers. I would have been ecstatic to go to sleep last night with a new QB. Those smarter than me didn’t overpay or over draft for one. Simple as that.

Jordan Travis, Spencer Rattler, and Michael Pratt are three talented players. Maybe they do not have the upside of Maye/McCarthy, but the investment is also much lower.

I understand mid-round QB's rarely hit, but this seems to be an atypical year for QB's.
