Besides not accounting for replay review or situation handling, there are issues in how they score pitches and set up strike zones. However, it is a good guide to compare umpires if you know which stats you are looking at and don't take the numbers as gospel.

Been proven time and again Just need the will. What I don’t understand is why fellow umps would stand up for Angel H at this point. Makes no sense.
From what I have heard, he is well liked by fellow umpires. Former MLB Umpire Ted Barrett, who was one of the top ranked umpires for a number of years, would request Angel on his crew. Apparently he is the time of person who would give the shirt off his back to help someone.
