Taking a look at the 2022 GM class and their teams:

Sean : 4/26/2024 1:07 pm
--Ryan Poles (Bears) - He made the bold move of trading down in the 2023 draft netting what turned out to be the first overall pick in 2024. He let Fields walk despite some pressure otherwise and selected Caleb Williams number 1 overall. He did pass on CJ Stroud.

--Kwesi-Adofo Mensah (Vikings) - He took his medicine with Cousins and traded up one spot for JJ McCarthy. He netted an extra first earlier and traded up twice in 2024.

--Joe Schoen (Giants) - His big move thus far has been signing Daniel Jones to a $160M contract ($82M guaranteed). He's yet to draft any QB unlike the Bears or Vikings who have drafted first round QBs. His biggest move was the Burns trade and ultimately letting Barkley walk.

--Dave Ziegler (Raiders) - Fired during the 2023 season.

To be fair, Schoen is the only one of this group to have a playoff win. It is interesting to see how the others are building vs NYG. It's also important to note that NYG has the most expensive QB.

As Eric on LI says though, it's about winning. I agree, but interesting to see how each team is building.
Having two picks in the top 7

is as big as the DJ signing.

Also has the Vikings in a tough situation going forward if they don't have success. They have 3 picks in 2025 draft (1st and 2 5ths). Sure they will get a 3rd round compensatory for Kirk Cousins, but that is still not a lot.
