35 catches/650 yards/4 tds
Let's see what it is after.
35 catches/650 yards/4 tds
lol, those look like Slayton numbers.
35 catches/650 yards/4 tds
Actually, that average YPC is way too high in this offense. Probably more like 35 catches, 450 yards, 4 TD’s
It will take multiple double digit win seasons to get Vegas out of that range for this team.
Almost half that yardage total was in the one Dallas game
Quote:
I'd use that as a guide.
Almost half that yardage total was in the one Dallas game
And it was Glennon at QB
The DJFC is a bad look, but so is going to the other extreme.

What's the extreme? This is a rookie WR coming into a team with no QB.
If you're setting the O/U it's probably at 55/750/4, something like that.
What do you think is going to happen, he's going to come in and be Odell Beckham? With some mix of Jones/Lock/DeVito throwing to him?

It is like Politics which I am not getting into... Both sides have loud people on the extreme rather than being where we should all be closer the middle. So much hate to think rationally.
The irony is those of us who wanted a QB were criticized for taking a "win-now" approach, when it's actually the other way around.
Nabers is going to be a rookie receiver on a team with no QB. Any big expectations are unfair.

You think he is Darius Slayton... you literally posted what Darius basically gets. You don't think a player a million times better than Darius can get more stats than him? This is why people jump on you so much when you say stuff like this.

Why only mention the other side? Your side has already decided the season is a waste “this place will be dreary in November”.

Because history supports my side. Over and over again.

That does not make it a reality yet.
I’d rather see them start DeVito to at least see a QB that doesn’t look scared every play.

The NYG have the 2nd longest odds to make the playoffs in the NFC. I’d say the odds favor Terps here.
2019 DJs rookie year 12 starts
Darius Slayton rookie year with DJ as QB
48 catches, 740 yards, and 8 TDs
2020 DJs second year 14 starts
Darius Slayton
50 catches, 753 yards, and 3 TDs
Sterling Shepard also had over 60+ for over 600 yards
2021 DJs 3rd year 11 starts
Top WR Golladay a shell of his self
37 catches for 571 yards
You could say Toney, but he didn't play that much because of injuries
39 catches for over 400 yards
2022 DJs 4th year 16 starts
Darius Slayton
46 for 724
2023 DJs 5th year 6 starts all other starts were with Tommy and TT
Darius Slayton 50 for 770
So to say he will only get 50 for 750 is basically saying this super star will only be able to match Darius Slayton or Golladay. We all get you don't like DJ and can't get over this, but do you need to post dumb stuff like this?

That is really not the point. Even if the giants do not make the playoffs that does not mean there has not been solid improvement. Context, sub context.
I find it difficult to understand what is wrong with acknowledging the odds while also acknowledging that the Giants have yet to play another hopeless, dreadful season in with hardly a sign of hope.
