He was a guy I was eyeing for many reasons. Good all around player who is a "football player". Also is a dangerous return man. Great ball skills and fast.
I read many posts on here from fans about how you were all "terrified" and "frightened" for the Giants to face the Eagles defense.
The Eagles defense was terrible.
You should be ashamed of yourselves.
Don't they have younger guys going into their 2nd and 3rd years? I think they're going to be an improved unit this year for FWIW, even with the losses
Say what you want, Howie is pretty dialed in
They drafted Nolan Smith to eventually replace Reddick. Then they trade Reddick for peanuts and signed Bryce Huff who hasn't been a full time starter. Smith isn't projected to start this year at all and is likely heading towards a situational player. For a 2nd rounder, that's a disappointment. Jordan Davis was a high pick and he's not been very good. If Jalen Carter (who started hot and cooled off) gets hurt, their interior will be in bad shape. And there's Nakobe Dean who got tons of pre-draft hype and then fell, and has since done nothing. Fans on here were petrified. I'd say relax and let's see.
Obviously they were gifted the first CB in round one with the run on QBs, OL…..plus they were shrewd enough to move up to get the 2nd guy in round two.
No doubt these two guys fill needs for them…Eagle fans should also be happy…in fact our whole division fans should be feeling better.
Jerry Reese syndrome. Early on Reese hit on these fallers like Corey Webster and Will Peterson and quirky picks like JPP. Guys that fell for various reasons like being hurt their last year in college or off the field stuff or athletic freakishness. Problem is he started living off these type of picks like Flowers, Apple etc...and started doing it in the 3rd and 4th rds repeatedly. Sometimes you get high on your own supply. Philly did it the past few years with the Georgia fallers and it hasn't worked out as well. The league makes mistakes all the time and pass on talent. However more often than not guys fall for good reason. It's dangerous to live too much on the fallers.
The “name” value pick they got last year in Ringo doesn’t look so hot so far.
+1
Yes. They're climbing out of the cellar. Looks like we'll be there this year.

“Amen!”…..preach it brother….

Exactly!! Why the fuck do we care about the Eagles?
I suspect we have some closeted fans...
