'I'm Everything!' Does Giants S Tyler Nubin Defy The Grades?

We're always looking to "define'' a player, to use "comps'' that put him in some sort of "box.''

Safety Tyler Nubin, selected in Round 2 of the 2024 NFL Draft (No. 47 overall) by the New York Giants, seems to want to defy those scouting cliches.

“I’m an everything player,'' Nubin said after his selection. I feel like I’m a guy that can do it all on the field. ...

"I can move around everywhere. I can blitz. I am come down and hit the box, I can play over the top. Anywhere on the field, I’m comfortable.”

We could use more of them….this kid has made me forget my initial disappointment in drafting a safety so high.

Watched some highlight films of both Nubin and Philips.

yes, I realize they were highlight films but, the amount of hustle and the aggressive "balls to the wall" style both these guys seem to play with was impressive.
