For me it's Wisconsin RB Braelon Allen who went to the Jets in the 4th round (134th over-all). At 6'2", 240, he's a sledge hammer RB who reminds me a lot of the Packers' AJ Dillon.
Recall, back-in-the-day when Brandon Jacobs filled that role (softening the defensive line) for Ahmad Bradshaw very effectively.
But, as it turns out, I happened to like their 5th round pick (Tyron Tracy) a lot (better than the incumbent, Devin Singletary). Hope things work out.

There's someone that understands the draft isn't about getting the player with the highest score. If Sy were running the team we'd be better off.
Brenson too but both came off earlier than I would have liked.
But we needed any of the 6 QBs in this draft. Epic failure
3 starters. Possibly a 4th with Johnson. Tracy will also have a role, IMO.
Or they all retire at once in training camp.

Aaahh, another genius hot take.....Love the work and info Sy puts in and gives free of charge, but if he were running the team we'd have had Josh Rosen or better yet Dwayne Haskins.
I assume the calculation here was that they'd rather just see how DeVito develops.
not looking forward to entering the season with our current QB room but I'll have to trust the process.
so I guess the answer to the question is Ruke O.

And the team would be no worse off.You got to take a chance.
But since that didn't seem to be the plan, I'll go with Trey Benson. Wanted a more dynamic backfield to compliment the upgraded receiving core. Lloyd or Wright were available as well.
Oh well.
Just draft one. Brady was drafted in the 6th round. But to not even try. Again.

But they threw a lot of money at that in FA. Cause that always fixes it.

...with the former OL coach. (what has been the constant with the recent OL failures that resurrected their careers on other teams?)
Give Peace Bacillio a chance!
Why don't the Giants ever draft QBs?
I sympathize with this
+1
Can't believe he dropped to fifth round this guy is a beast reminds me of a Jerome Bettis type power back, native of Nyack NY would have been a perfect fit for NYG.
I like him, but him fawning over every Michigan guy drafted got old quick
Why don’t the giants ever draft QBs? They don’t have any good ones.
Guys that were off the board, Maye and Benson
i think jenkiins would have started next to dex/phillips and helped get defense in pass rush situations. id have just signed micah hyde for s.
I wanted Penix but not at pick 9
Sam Hartman isn’t any good.
As for the thread, I’ll echo the sentiments on Christian Mahogany.
