The Giants did not walk out of the draft without a QB. We got one. The next undrafted star. It was destined—played for the Wabash Little Giants!
Was actually curious and looked up his college highlights and although D3 and a very very long shot, had interesting skills.
Was doing lot is of off platform throws, had good ball placement, good pocket presence, very mobile, different angle throws, hit receivers in stride. I know, there are highlights, not sure what the bad looked like.
Never know how d-3 translate but will be interesting how he does working with talent around him. Will he push DeVito, who knows, but you never know.

Build up the rest of the roster and then just grab a QB later when everything is perfectly in place with All-Pros, pro bowlers and everybody is still in their prime under reasonable contracts.
QB??...good lord, what an overrated concept.
I do not know how he can generate any power on his throws.
He throws with all arm with no base, he never sets his feet, he has a weird release, and he throws across his body.
Yet he can throw the ball 60 yards and he appears to be accurate. His mechanics defy everything I was taught.
If the coaches can fix him there appears to be some talent to work with.
He can run and he almost seems to enjoy pressure and off-platform plays.
+1

There are some in DC that think the team makes the QB and not the other way around. Couldn’t agree more with this post.
I thought DeVito was American?...
He mentioned he was undersized and a late bloomer, who grew both physically and mentally at the position. The Manning's became fans with Archie Sr. attending his bowl game. He was a camp counselor invite for the last 3 seasons at the Manning QB camp, and felt he could hang with the other top QB prospects there, which gave him confidence heading into his later years at school. Definitely played against subpar competition, but the processing, footwork, arm angles, layering of the football, pocket awareness, are all noticeable. Nice player to root for.
I see this kid has attended the Manning QB clinic for 3 years so I suppose he has learned things with this instruction.
As for me, I’m hopeful that he could come to his tryout and not play in fear and just let it out using his skills.
I noticed one guy who posted on this thread feels his technique is poor, but I can’t imagine going to the Manning Passing Academy for 3 years and graduating with flaws with poor technique. Don’t you think any of the Mannings would show him how to throw correctly, assuming his technique is poor?
On one play he ran to his left and completed the pass. That's a difficult throw for a righty. Impressive.
Based on his running style: he could be our "Wabash Cannonball"

Re-watching the video linked to the OP, you're right that he has a weird release. Kind of slings it from down by his hip.
That said, the ball gets there, including on long passes. And he can run a bit.
LMAO!!!
I expect you'll be sending me a new keyboard to replace the one I spit my coffee on!
