the new rules and Tyrone being faster and shiftier than Gunner, he will (at some point this year) be ahead of him. Unless they don't want to risk injury.
He returned 17 kickoffs and one punt, all but one kickoff in his final year at Purdue. But I agree that he appears to have the running ability to potentially do it.
Camp battle. Better than last year when they tried to teach Eric Gray how to be a return man, that was a disaster. I think it will end up McKenzie vs Olszewski for punts but kicks could be any of them. Link to his 97 yard kick return TD. Link - ( New Window )
Nine times as many punts in college as Tracy - 9 to 1.
Neither one 'returned punts' in college. Sounds like both got called on because someone had a temporary injury.
I think I read a ball kicked into end zone goes to 30 instead of 25, but do you think that extra 5 yards will make teams want to not kick the ball into the end zone for a touchback? Am I missing something?

Yes, you’re missing something. New kickoff rules - ( New Window )
thanks, Gary, that is wacky, weird and wild. But how many KOs will bounce w/i the landing zone (i.e., not make it on the fly to EZ) to incentivize returns? Not sure the rule will accomplish what the League thinks it will. Will definitely be strange seeing the KO coverage team lining up on the receiving team's 40.
