Keenan Allen already had #13 for Bears. Williams is walking into a pretty great situation for a rookie QB. Top 3 WRs are Allen, DJ Moore and Odunze. (BTW, Odunze wearing #15)
That trade with Carolina couldn't have worked out any better for the Bears
it doesnt look good so far but the trade comes down to caleb v bryce
if caleb had played on that carolina team last year i think he would have broken the turnover record.
caleb has the better weapons by a mile but carolina has done a lot of good this year imo. 2 big OL upgrades, added a lot of speed in draft (brooks, leggette), diontae johnson. they probably wont win a lot of games but their offense should be better.

Yeah, I'm definitely more interested in uniform numbers than I should be. I just came across picture of Caleb and Odunze together, and was surprised bc I just assumed Caleb would be #13. When I read that he was deferring to Allen, it made me realize just how stacked their WR core is
That Caleb has to take #18 because a guy that 13 years in the league (none with the Bears) wants it. Caleb is the face of the franchise going forward. Allen will probably be gone after this season.

Girly man Williams needs to earn it. To me, he’s not gonna walk into the league like he’s a hot shit. He’s been doing that in college and acting like a baby at the same time. To me, he doesn’t get the respect until he acts like a professional, and he proves it in the league on the field. He’s earned nothing yet.

I don't know what it is, but I have this feeling Caleb will have an underwhelming NFL career based on going #1 & the hype. Perhaps its the history of Bears QBs, me coming away completely unimpressed with his game vs. ND this past fall, or some of the red flag shit...I don't think he's going to end up as an elite QB.
